TV Transmitters      
   
 

IMTEL Microwaves produces TV transmitters that operate in whole UHF or VHF band, with output power of 2 W, 5 W, 10 W, 20 W, 50 W, 100 W, 300 W, 500 W or 1000 W.

This production series is based upon modular concept that greatly simplifies channel setting, upgrading and device maintenance. All blocks are standardized in their function and features, so all devices are built upon the same block diagram regardless to the operating band.

  
 

The TV transmitters consist of:

  • Video modulator, that includes receiver’s group delay equalizer, white level clipper, temperature compensated local oscillator, DC restoration circuit and VSB SAW filter,
  • Audio modulator with pre-emphasis and peak-detector,
  • RF synthesizer,
  • Up converter with linearity pre-correction circuit and channel filter,
  • Amplifier stage comprising chain of RF power amplifiers, realized in balanced configuration with 3 dB quadrature stripline couplers or Wilkinson type dividers / combiners;
  • Band-pass and notch filter, and
  • Control unit with monitoring, alarming and damage prevention features.
  
 

TV transmitters with output power up to 50 W are realized in one box with standard dimensions: 19" wide and 5H high. TV transmitters with higher output powersare realized as a combination of transmitting exciter and adequate TV amplifier.

The devices can be supplied for operation with any negative modulation standard.
