- No tune synthesizers - frequency
changes without manual tuning (frequency selection from the front
panel or by microprocessor command ).
- Operating frequency range from
1 MHz to 3 GHz in base mode, for the higher frequency up to the
26 GHz with additional frequency multiplier.
- Low noise design
very low single-sideband noise. Typical values for single-sideband
noise for TV synthesizers: minimum 70 dBc / Hz at 500 Hz
from the 900 MHz carrier (50 kHz channel step, one loop PLL synthesizer),
or 85 dBc / Hz at 500 Hz from the 900 MHz carrier (50 kHz
channel step, two loop PLL synthesizer). For the lower frequencies
specifications are better (additional single-sideband noise specifications
available on request).
- Frequency resolution - down
to 1Hz (lower step increments can be defined on request) by using
combination of DDS and PLL loop.
- Synchronization -
Synthesizer reference oscillator can be synchronized to the frequency
standards or GPS.
- Fractional synthesizers -
IMTEL microwave custom design, or Philips or National ICs.
- Long-term stability ±
1 ppm at temperature from 0° C to 45° C or better, if
better reference oscillator is used (down to ± 0.001 ppm).
Other temperature ranges are available.
- Non-harmonic spurious suppression minimum
60 dBc, typically 70 dBc or better.
- Harmonics level down
to 20 dBc for octave synthesizers (470 MHz 900 MHz) or
better for narrower frequency range synthesizers, typically down
to 40 dBc.
- The settling time better
than 100 msec, depending on synthesizer type and its specifications.
- Output power minimum
10 dBm, output power variations in
frequency range ± 1.5 dB or better.
- Output impedance 50 W,
s11 < - 10 dB.
- Lock indication
at modules front panel (green LED) and CMOS logic
at output / input connector.
- High reliability in use -
high MTBF, combination of SMT and classical components tested
in climate chamber to the thermal shock from - 20° C to +
55° C for 24 hours.
- All synthesizers measure
output level at the output connector, optional
built-in switch that reduces output power to
15 dBm when
synthesizer isnt locked.
- Auxiliary control measuring port minimum
level 10 dBm, for measurement and control during synthesizer
operation.
- Operation ambient temperature range
from 10° C to + 50° C and relative humidity up to 80
% (non condensing).
