2 kW FM Amplifier     
   

FM ampifier with output power of 2 kW is a complex system which consists of the following units:

  • Central controller;

  • Two amplifiers with output power of 1 kW

  • Wilkinson type combiner

  • Directional coupler for emitted and reflected power measurement at the output 

  • Output low-pass filter

The central controller performs several features: dividing the exciter signal for the two amplifiers with Wilkinson type divider, detection of the emitted and reflected power at the Wilkinson combiner output, and monitoring of the operation of the whole system (including the exciter) through the master controller.

The exciter, as well as the two amplifiers, has completely digitized control of all operation parameters. The controllers on all devices are based upon microprocessors which enables their mutual communication as well as communication with a PC computer through RS232 port.

This device, through controller, has the remote monitoring and control possibility.
